The G.R.E.A.T Program (Gang Resistance Education and Training) is a school-based,
law enforcement officer- instructed classroom curriculum. Our G.R.E.A.T program
instructor is Officer Pam Lewis, who has worked with the program for approximately
four years.
The program’s primary goals are to prevent youth crime, violence, and gang
involvement while developing a positive relationship among law enforcement, families
and our young people to create safer communities.
Since its inception in 1991, over 7.000 law enforcement officers have been certified
as G.R.E.A.T instructors and nearly four million students have graduated from the
G.R.E.A.T Program.
